When I was a little girl going to St. John's Church every week, I often visited Joan's beautiful memorial. My mother would not tell me how she had passed, but always reminded me to say a prayer for her and her family. Now I have a little girl of my own and I understand the power of a mother's love. I am in awe of all you have done, Rosemary, to secure justice for Joan and make the world a safer place for my kids and millions of others. Thank you. All these years later, people have not forgotten Joan. You have created such a beautiful legacy for her. I think sometimes, certain special spirits must live on, to continue touching lives and changing the world for the better. Joan's spirit has surely lived on in you. Happy Anniversary in heaven, Joan. When I hug my little girl today, I'll be thinking of you.

I will never forget the day I heard my dog barking, and looked out the window to find firemen searching the yard and pool.(3 doors down on Magnolia Ave) I was the same age as Joan. Over the years I have never forgot her. We always thought, not in a neiborhood like this. I am proud to say that my father helped with the case as a police officer.
